- Oxytocin 1,000 IU
It is indicated for stimulation of uterine contraction to facilitate parturition, promote involution of the post-parturient uterus, aid the passage of retained placenta, control of post-partum haemorrhage, promotion of milk secretion in cases of agalactia or support treatment of mastitis.
Store in a cool place and keep out of direct sunlight.
- Mares, cows: 4-5 ml per animal.
- Ewes, goats: 1-3 ml per animal.
- Sows: 2-4 ml per animal.
- Bitch: 0.5-1 ml per animal.
- Cats: 0.3-0.5 ml per animal.
If necessary repeat after 2 – 3 hours.
- For meat: 1 day.
- For milk: 1 day.
- Unopened cervix. Wrong position of foetus or uterus.
- Obstructive dystocia. Hypersensitivity to oxytocin
